Free Range Doggy Daycare was founded in 2007 by Tim Phelan, a lifelong Glastonbury resident. Time was inspired to open Free Range while operating Hidden Dog Fencing. The daycare became a social outlet for many of the dogs that he met through his dog fencing business. He decided to include boarding services to provide safe and reliable pet care while clients were away on vacation.
In 2022, Time went into business with Stacey Lombardo. She orchestrated a renovation of their facilities. They put up new fencing, expanded upon the outdoor play areas, and installed a turf field. The updates carried through to the office area, new grooming room and boarding cabins.
Tim & Stacey are avid dog lovers, and it is very important to all the Free Range staff to give your “rangers” the best possible experience while in our care.
